Cigarette Butts in the Complex

Published by:

Dumping Issue

Hello Everyone,
Just a friendly reminder that Cigarette butts being dropped outside the units is considered littering under the condo bylaws.
Units with cigarette butts found outside the units will be fined.
Cigarettes may be smoked in the complex but ash trays and collection bins must be brought inside after you are finished.

Never deposit cigarette butts into planters or bushes as they may ignite. Especially now that a fire ban is now in effect.

As an alternative to smoking we suggest looking up alternatives to cigarettes.
Consider investing in Electronic Cigarettes as they don’t produce butts and generally smell less.
Reducing or quitting smoking can greatly improve the long term health

Thank you and have a nice day.

Garbage in the Yard

Dumping Issue

Hello Everyone,
Just a reminder that it is not okay to store garbage or garbage bags outside on your patio or front door, even temporarily.
Our site manager is instructed to collect all visible garbage and we will levy a fine of $50 for every infraction we find.
This includes items such as used car batteries, cigarette butts, and dog poop bags.

For a temporary spot to store garbage we suggest using the inside of the garage.
The temperature should keep the bags from smelling and the bags will be out of sight.

Thank you for your cooperation and assistance in keeping the complex clean.

Dumping Issue

Hello Everyone, please note that there is no dumping in the complex.
Do not leave large furniture or items beside the garages as it is an additional charge to have any items picked up.
Anyone caught dumping will be charged to have the materials removed.
Also note that the City of Edmonton does not remove large items placed in the dumpsters such as TVs and Pallets.
Please dispose of large items during big bin events or at your local Eco Station.

Garbage

Dumping Issue

Large furniture items being dumped in and beside the garbage garages continues to be a problem with a significant cost to all of us to take care of it.

The Board has decided to bring in a big waste bin every 3 months to help take care of the problem.

If you have something large you want to get rid of and can’t take it to the dump or the Eco-Station, please hang on to it in anticipation that you can put it in the bin within 3 months.

Please do not place it beside the garbage area and make it somebody else’s problem.  Thank you.

Dog Poop

Published by:

The amount of dog feces left on Stonebridge common grounds is astounding! Some interesting facts: One gram of dog poop has 23 million fecal bacteria;
And it can carry such things as Campylobacteriosis, salmonellosis; roundworms; coccidian; tapeworms; E.colil Giardia and Parvo.

ALWAYS BAG IT AND TRASH IT… Wastewater treatment is not designed to filter dog waste; Dog poop is the #3 cause of water pollution.
Do you really expect groundskeepers, site managers, other owners and children to deal with this? Please! Curb your dog,
In future, if it requires being cleaned up, the cost will be charged back to the unit.
Size limit of dogs permitted: up to 50 pounds only, with written Board permission.

All dogs must be leashed when on common property

If you see a dog running loose, please take a photo and report it to the Board, the unit # where the dog is from is required.
